01/04/2011 - Peru, Puno to Islas del Ouros to Arequipa





We spent the morning visiting the read Islands of the Ouros  and the native inhabitants.  The first part of the morning was great when they explained how they made and maintained the islands, how they farm and fish and trade and generally live.  The second part sucked when they put the hard word on to buy their "local" handicrafts.  The rest of the day was spent on the bus to Arequipa.

The photos are the island we visited, the local woman getting ready for trade and trading and Liz with her new adoptive family.
