We visited on of the new 7 wonders of the world. We were at the bus stop for 5:30am hoping to be at Machu Pichu for opening 6am. We didn't bank on people queueing from 3am. So it took a bit longer and we were in by 6:30 which wasn't too bad. It was great to be there early as it is quite tranquil and you can take the place in. By 8:30am there were literally thousands of people on the site and it wasn't anywhere near as enjoyable so we pulled the pin and went back to the hotel. It is an amazing site and good for a visit.
