29/03/2011 - Bolivia, La Paz to Yumani (Isla del Sol)

A travel day to the birthplace of the sun and the moon (according to the Inca's), Isla del Sol which is on Lake Titikaka.  We had a choice of staying at a town on the lake's edge or the island and we chose the island.  Which turned out to be inspired as it was as tranquil as it was beautiful.

The photos are of our bus on a barge for a short lake crossing, our very relaxed ferry captain and the view from our hostel on the island.
