01/01/2011 - Argentina, Buenos Aires

It was a late night for us, but not a heavy night drinking so we both woke up, albeit late, feeling fresh and without a hangover.  The Dakar rally now runs in Argentina and Chile due to terrorism issues in West Africa and New Years Day is the start of the rally.  So, just like Madrid, we took advantage of our good fortune and went and watched some of the start (there are 500 competitors and it took over 5 hours).
