31/12/2010 - Argentina, Buenos Aires

A day off from school as Argentina takes new years eve off.  We went for a walk and lunch during the day and met up with some classmates to see in the new year.  New year is low key in Argentina with most people spending it at home with family and friends or in a restaurant. So it was different and good at the same time.  I have been lucky enough to experience new years in 4 countries (Australia, England, America and Argentina).

The photo is of a massive piece of corporate art in the shape of a flower.  Apparently, it opens and closes, although, we only saw it when it was open.
