01/03/2011 - Brazil, Rio de Janeiro to Paraty

We had a lunchtime bus so we tried to see Christo Redentor again.  Again it was covered in fog.  We went up anyway.  There were some brief periods without fog, but they were very brief.  We got to Paraty early evening to find that the hostel had given our room to someone else.  Thankfully, they honoured our reservation.  We had dinner and a walk around the old town and that was it.

The photos are of Christ the Redeemer.  The first of Christ the Redeemer and Rio when we got there and then some actual views after we had waited for a while.
