12/04/2011 - Peru, San Pedro to Salvador

A very long day travelling.  Up at 3:30am on the road by 4am.  3 hours drive followed by 9 hours on the boat.  The upside was that there was a lot of animals out and about on the banks of the river and also that we finally made it into the Manu Bio-reserve.  Score.  We went for a night boat ride on an oxbow lake in search of cayman.  We didn't see many, but it was a good way to spend the evening.
