14/04/2011 - Peru, Salvador to Tambo Blanquillo
Out of the Bio-reserve into the conservation zone, which meant a long boat road followed by and afternoon on another oxbow lake and a night walk where we encountered tarantulas as big as a man (well almost). Another great day.
The photos are of a view of the forest from 60 meters up a tree, a white-fronted capuchin, a white fronted capuchin, a squirrel monkey (sort of), the oxbow lake, a roseate woodbill, some drunk stinky birds (proper name eludes me), a piraƱa, a brown bird (proper name eludes me) and a purplish jay.
