01/05/2011 - Ecuador, Quito

A better day.  The sun was out, cars were banned from the old town and the people were out and smiling.  No glares.  No shouts of gringo.  Much better.  We ended up going for a walk to find tour agencies for the Galapagos which were all closed considering it was Sunday.  Headed to the main park and checked out the market, went out for lunch and then lazed at the hostel.  As I said a better day.
